Sir if i dont include the commission within sales and take it as other income is it acceptable?I can’t remember the question, but from what you have said, I imagine it would be incorrect to include “commissions received / receivable” in revenue.
Surely it’s an “other income” item
So, in answer to your question, not only would it be acceptable to include as “other income”, it really would not be acceptable to include it within sales / revenue!
