    Hi ken,
During the presentation of the answers, will the magnification of a point to a potential wider implication that is not highlighted in the case study be recognized as a manifestation of commercial acumen?
For example, the case study makes mention of a company operating in many countries around the world. This could give tip to differences in regulations in the countries the company operates. so, in the event of external environmental analysis using the PESTEL model should I bring this point under legal factors even though the scenario did not say anything else about the legal environment?

    Thank you.

Yes, certainly. Operating internationally can be very difficult in practice because of legal and cultural differences and even if nothing was specifically mentioned in the question these (normal) difficulties should be anticipated.

Other examples of universal difficulties could be:

1 Will a high quality, high price product sell or would consumers prefer the cheap option?
2 Would a monopoly position be tolerated?
3 Would consumers be resistant to a foreign product?
4 To what extent might we be subject to a rise in price of a unique input material?
5 Large scale expansion is always prone to unforeseen problems.
