I cannot understand when its talking about
criteria stated by transport minister to reduce environmental impact what does it mean by introduction of road ecology measures such as wildlife crossings which can minimise impact on local speciesCost constraint: its given transport minister has stated low prce criteria..what could be its impact like how does it reduce our profit margins below 8% if the costs over runs ….please explain this point also
January 24, 2021 at 10:08 am #607732Vehicles travel on roads. Vehicles sometimes collide with animals and kill or injure them. Some countries/regions where there are important animal migrations construct underpasses for the animals.
If CC wants to achieve 8% and it has been selected on the basis of a low price if costs increase then either the 8% will not be achieved (assuming the selling price can’t be increased) or the company might be tempted to try to save costs by producing poorer quality work.
January 26, 2021 at 8:45 am #608042Please explain how local communities and government are major stakeholders that should be included in project initiation document and how construction of road affects local communities and government
January 26, 2021 at 9:48 am #608065Communities: disruption as work carried out, additional traffic perhaps, additional noise and pollution, additional convenience and perhaps additional safety
Government: pays for it. May affect government popularity and election prospects etc.
