Can i just check that i am not reading this incorrectly please.
In the Dec 2011 exam Q1a) “Describe the general purposes of a corporate code of ethics….” and the marking guide suggests 5 marks for each code.
When i looked at the answer i see there are five general lines to the code of ethics:-
1) To communicate the values
2) Promote stakeholders rights and responsibilities
3) A method of conveying values of stakeholders
4) Influence and control behaviours
5) Articulate and underpin the organisations strategic positionMy question then is this…has the corporate code of ethics expanded since 2011 because i appear to have 7 points now!
1) Purpose and values of business
2) Customer relations
3) Shareholders
4) Implementation
5) Employees
6) Suppliers
7) SocietyThanks for your time.

Are there any verbs associated with this list of 7?
May 30, 2016 at 10:28 pm #318221That’s the list from bpp text book which just expired. It then goes on to expand on the headers.
Just looking at textbook.
Suppliers – the company will normally settle invoices promptly, maintain relations with suppliers, not accept bribes etc
Society – this is the compliance with laws, social involvement, donations etc
