Hello,

I’m trying to understand what ‘cash’ earnings means for the calculation of class 1-NIC for employees?

Does it include mileage reimbursed by a company for business travel?

It will only include any excess amounts reimbursed ABOVE 45p per mile.

No – the 45p figure applies irrespective of mileage
