In the lecture the term has been used by the lecturer in civil law and in criminal law, the term was; civil law need to be proved on the balance of probability, on the other hand criminal law need to be proved beyond reasonable doubt.
These 2 terms are quite complex what it really means!March 29, 2020 at 4:46 pm #566103Hamid, ‘on the balance of probability’ means that it’s more likely to be true than not true
‘Beyond reasonable doubt’ means that it’s virtually certain to be true – only an unreasonable person could fail to be convinced.
OK?
March 30, 2020 at 8:27 am #566135Ok sir, thanks.
Sir I want to ask sth.
I have specialization in finance ( bachelor in business administration ) BBA degree therefor, I have rewarded f1,f2 and f3. One of the regular student of ACCA advised me to not take the 3rd paper which is FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING study this paper and pass it because by passing FA u will get diploma from ACCA. On the contrary, if u start from f4 (business and corporate law ) i
Will not get diploma.
Is it right?March 30, 2020 at 9:09 am #566142I know little about whether ACCA will give a piece of paper – that’s something that you could check for yourself on the ACCA website
However, I most strongly recommend that you take the accounting paper (no longer referred to by letters and numbers) because that will give you a solid base from which you can build towards the later accounting papers
Even if you choose not to take the exam itself, it would be to your advantage to study the material on this site and watch John’s lecture videos
OK?
