Hi all, I became an Affiliate today. Since I am in USA I would wish to pursue a US qualification now.
Does anyone has info if ACCA Affiliate fulfill education requirements of CIA?
(I am an Affiliate not a Member)
I am a CIA, CGAP and CISA for around 4 years and still cannot pass my final ACCA exam (P5). I stopped counting my P5 attempts…….again “FAIL”.
All CIA, CGAP and CISA exams passed from first attempt. For CIA you need 2 years “experience in audit/assessment disciplines, such as external auditing, quality assurance, compliance, or internal control”.
You definitely may count on your ACCA PER.
Regarding educational requirements – you must hold at least Bachelor degree.
thank you
is ACCA Affiliate considered equivalent to Bachelor degree?
Hi you,
I know all about redoing P5 countless times, i have finally passed it on my fourth attempt, i found out the trick is in the answers to past examination papers if you grasp the ‘how to answer’ and the content of ‘the answer’ I noticed the examiner repeats question types from time to time.
you are not eligible for CIA as ACCA affiliate , u must have a BSC OBU degree to be eligible. only ACCA member is eligible for CIA.
