Hello
Can someone please explain how in Example 2 chapter 21 they get the figure of 6428571 for date 1.11.08?
chapter 21 has a lot of examples but the answers don’t show clear workings
so confused.
thanks
The question tells you that there was a bonus issue of 2 for 7 on shares already held
At the date of the bonus issue, there were 5,000,000 shares in issue
For every 7, 2 new shares were given
So, if there were 5,000,000 in issue before the 2 for7 bonus issue, how many shares would there be in issue after the 2 for 7 bonus issue
Does this really need any further explanation?
