Actually the reason behind me asking this is that no printed solution ever explained that point which you said.
most questions where they mentioned the audit firm is providing a service such as valuation or HR services they simply mentioned there was a self interest threat relating to the income and mentioned the circumstance in the question whereas didnt explain as to how that income poses a threat?
are we not supposed to go into much detail in our answer?actually these answer keys are driving me nuts!
For some questions they go into a lot of detail whereas for some others they would stop with one line.
The answer to that really depends on how many marks the question is worth, how many points you have already raised and whether an explanation about fee levels is either, in your mind, considered necessary / desirable or whether your time available would be better spent raising further, relevant, technical matters … depends on marks and time available
