    Hi there,

Does anyone have any other suggestions on how we can upload the presentation ppt file?

I’ve tried tanvi2211 solution but it doesn’t apply for my case.

My ppt is only 2MB and its in the right format so I have no idea why the file is greyed out in the pop up box and I am unable to select it for upload…

I managed to resolve my own problem XD

I was trying to upload my files using my MacbookPro via Safari browser.

When I did that, the word documents had to be in .doc(not .docx) & .ppt & .pptx could not be selected.

I switched to a Windows laptop, used google chrome and I could upload all the files in the latest versions (.docx, .pptx).

    Hope this helps!

@hymmoflove – This is what someone else wrote on the Forum “Format of saving the RAP, SLS,etc?”

@hymmoflove -That’s good. Most of those in the OBU office try to be as helpful as possible. Interesting that you called her an ‘angel’ as there is a lady there who is particularly kind who is called ‘Angela’ -so may be it was she (who is so aptly named πŸ™‚ )

    Hello All,
Just sent my project last night! Feeling so relieved! I think it is fair to recognise Theprena for all the hard work she has put into this forum to help us with our project over the past few months. Theprena, without people like you that give one of the most precious things these days ( time) this forum and the great help would not exist! Thank you so much and God bless you. Just hope we will be all successful in Marsh! Till then, take care!

    Dear @Amarain

Thank you for your kind words.

I would like to extend my thanks to Bassanio Broke too, who previously has also given selflessly of his time to helping students – even though his appearances on the forums now seem to be a rarity πŸ™ (but we still have his ‘Top Tips for the RAP’ which no doubt have benefitted a great many people) and thanks also to isookvi, SalahUddin and many other returning students whose names temporarily escape me but they will know who they are and the forums contain evidence of them through their helpful postings.

My idea is that we all provide the encouragement to help students approach studying with interest and stimulate their educational and academic development. This is done in the hope that similarly they will be encouraged to help fellow students when they have time or have passed. So I am really pleased when I see names I recognise helping out πŸ™‚ I also believe that students who work hard and get the degree (as opposed to those who cheat and plagiarise) are learning great life lessons and skills and are sure to benefit from their achievements both now and in the future.

As it happens I have a lot going on in the coming months in my life and as there is sure to be more demands on my time than I can realistically fulfil, I really hope therefore that as many others as possible will be around to help P30 students. I will try to post answers from time to time through December to February (but can’t make firm promises of quick responses) but I should be around for the last 10-12 weeks of P30. I hope that with our home page articles and the forum topics that there is still a lot of good advice available via the Search facility should no-one be temporarily around to answer queries directly, however it would be nice if anyone else sees a query and knows they can answer it, to do so.

So all the best to you Amarain and everyone else submitting in P29 – don’t forget us all on the OT OBU Forum – you don’t have to wait until March to come back!!! …. And as P29 draws to a close let’s hope that we shall see some good results on here when P29 submissions have all been marked…. and welcome to all those beginning or returning to continue their RAP journey in P30 πŸ˜€

Good luck and Blessings to everyone!

@gibsonaruchera – yes it does as everything from the start of the cover page to the last word of the conclusion/recommendations is counted as part of the 7,500 words.

the 10MB file size limit does it mean that each file should be less that 10MB or the Total size of all my files should be 10Mb, coz the biggest file size of the financial statements is 9Mb while other one ranges from 3mb to 4mb. what should i do?

You can simply say Appendix 1, Appendix 2 etc or give it a name such as FS XYZ Ltd, – there are no specific rules but your marker may find it helpful I suppose if they need to look for something if the files are given an appropriate title.

I would expect it to expand and allow you to load extra files. Most students manage to load several appendices successfully.

More than 4 appendices are not recommended as the markers have to download them all and for ease prefer that where feasible appendices files are combined e.g. both companies’ spreadsheets for Balance sheets and P &L could be loaded on different tabs within the same workbook

How do we know which MS edition they would be using? I made in 2016 edition!
