Chattels CH12 Example 9 (d)

Can you confirm that the vintage car is exempt due to it being classed as a wasting chattel?

If so, I am assuming that the estimated remaining life is presumed to be less than 50 years but are we supposed to apply common sense when classifying assets or will the examiner make it clear by providing information for us to determine in which category a chattel will fall into?
