Which of the following forms of presentation is least useful when comparing how data (such as total sales) has changed over time?
A. Pie chart
b.Bar chart
c. Table
D. Line graph
Answer is A.
I was confused in A and C, but did C.
Sir in A, we can compare total sales of each year. Pie chart will have sectors and each would show different year. Wouldn’t it be better than table which will just show value of changing years.
Pie charts are really only useful by showing the components that make up a total.
You could, in theory construct one as you suggest but the question asks about the least useful method and I do think that is definitely the pie chart. The table would be easier to understand…a simple list showing sales each year.
Right sir.
