    Hi,

    I’m currently working through the taxable income question at the end of Chapter 8. Why have the dividends of £440 been included as taxable income, even though there is an annual exemption of £1,000?

    Ypu have to include the dividends in total income recevied and then when you are working out the tax on all your income you get the £1000 exemption.
