Its one of the practical questions which i didn’t understand.
Which of the following would be used by business with offices in London, Hong Kong and Los Angeles which needed to share information?
LAN and Intranet
LAN and extranet
WAN and Intranet
WAN and extranet
Can you please explain this to me?

It must be in intranet (extranets are when you communicate with other organisations, not other offices in your organisation).
If the offices are throughout the world, then it would be a WAN. LANs are over a restricted ares where the machines are linked by special cables.
