Each lost unit is $5. We are then shown (300kg) x $5 = ($1,500). This would reflect the cost of 300 lost kg not units. We were never told that a unit = exactly 1 kg. This may need to be updated to avoid confusion.

However in the lecture I make it clear (and obviously nobody should waste their time trying to study from the notes without watching the lectures).
