Hi John,
There are changes to the P4 syllabus so I just want to know whether they are covered in the lectures.

There are no changes for the December – the last change to the syllabus was for the September exam (and the syllabus for December is the same as for September).
Most of the changes were actually the removal of items from the syllabus (and the relevant topics are therefore removed from the notes and from the lectures). The notes and lectures were also changed to include any important additions.
John,
I also wanted to ask that around 45-50% of the exam is theory based so if we go through the notes, would that be sufficient to do well in the exam?
The notes should only be used with the lectures – not on their own.
The more other reading you do then obviously the better, but most important is to attempt all the questions in your Revision Kit and learn from the answers to the written parts of questions. Most of what can be asked in the written parts has already been asked in the past, so learning from past exam answers is the best 🙂
