hi sir can i use these notes for the September 2017 sittings? (studying multiple papers that is why taking it late)

do you think there will be any changes in the syllabus?

    thank you.

p.s do i need any assumed knowledge because i haven’t sat paper F5 yet and also, do i need a study text for this paper?

A new syllabus will be published before the September 2017 exam, but it will be surprising if there are any major changes.
So do use the existing notes and lectures – just check when the new syllabus is published in case anything extra is introduced.

You do not need a Study Text, provided that you are watching the lectures and not just using the notes on their own. The notes are only lecture notes and it is in the lectures that I explain and expand on the notes.
If you are not watching the lectures then do not use the notes – in that case you must study using a Study Text.

Otherwise, the one book you do need is a Revision Kit from one of the ACCA approved publishers. They contain lots of exam standard questions to practice, and practice is absolutely vital to passing the exam.

There is no assumed knowledge from Paper F5 – that is a completely different exam. There is some assumed knowledge from parts of Paper F2, but I revise the relevant bits in the Paper F9 lectures anyway.
