    hey guys…
I’m planning to take up f7, p1, p2 and p3 this june….I want to know if there is any change in syllabus….???? and if I can use the study materials of 2011 for June 2012 for these subjects……

I’m also wondering if I should take up all four at a time since I am employed at present although there is still a time of 3 months to prepare… I decided to take up the four papers because f7 and p2 are related subjects and p1 and p2 are also related ones i guess……

    Any help would be appreciated…
    thnx in advance… :):):)

In the past, I took three papers, (P2, P3 and P7) when I was working full time and trust me, it was a challenge even though I started studying in June for the December exams. I passed all three. Four papers for a working person would be a stretch by anyone’s imagination.

As for changes to the syllabus, read this article: https://www2.accaglobal.com/pubs/students/publications/student_accountant/archive/sa_oct11_study_guides.pdf

In particular, I make reference to the following
Summary of changes to Paper F7, Financial Reporting (INT) and (UK)
Additions to Paper F7 (INT) and (UK)

There have not been any additions to the 2011 Study Guide for 2012. However,
there have been minor amendments to the wording of some of the Study Guide
outcomes corresponding to changes within examinable documents and to
    ensure greater clarity.

Summary of changes to Paper P2, Corporate Reporting (INT) and (UK)
There have not been any additions or deletions to the 2011 Study Guide for
2012. However, there have been minor amendment to the wording of some of
the study guide outcomes corresponding to changes within examinable
    documents.

Summary of changes to Paper P3, Business Analysis
There are no changes to Paper P3 for 2012.

For P1 there are some minor things to note, see the article for details.

@alkemist thanks for that info mate….. I will keep your info in mind about appearing for four exams before entering for exams in March…..
So then, is it ok to use the 2011 study materials for 2012 exams coz getting new study materials costs quite a lot in the country from where I come from..

As stated in the article, for the most part there is no change from the 2011 syllabus for the subjects which you want to do. just bear in mind that some phrases or words used may have changed, but outside of that, you should be ok using 2011 study materials if these are the exams you wish to take.
