Sir I was following your lecture on this question discussion. For part (a)(i) it asked for adjustments which needed to be made to the consolidated FS & upon reviewing the answers the examiner showed the DR & CR for each adjustment that needed to be made.
But this was not shown in the video. Will I still be able to get the full 13m if I structure the answer according to yours as shown in the video ?
I take your point. I was concentrating so hard on the spreadsheet that I didn’t do anything with ‘adjustments’.
For clarification IF, AND ONLY IF, YOU ARE ASKED FOR ADJUSTMENTS, there will be a mark or two (but no more), for:
EITHER showing Dr and CR
OR saying which accounts go up and down and by how much.
