Hi guys!
Hope you’re all doing well.
Just wanted to ask If anyone has been through the application process for CGA/CPA Canada.
I’m on my last ACCA exam and was wondering if I can start with the application process for the CGA/CPA Canada. Since I do not live in Canada, CPA Canada said I should contact CPA British Columbia (BC). I have emailed them twice but have not got any response.
I was wondering if it’s possible to apply for membership whilst preparing for my last ACCA exam so that I could save time in the application process? I could then submit my final ACCA result to CPA Canada (BC) once I finish my last ACCA exam to follow up on the application process.
To be honest I don’t know who to contact anymore as I have not heard from CPA Canada (BC) and CPA Canada insist I should contact them.

KyleI did mine last year. You cannot start the process until you become a member of ACCA. I do not live in Canada, nor does my wife and we are both CPA, CGA. The MRA has technically expired, but CPA seems to be continuing with it until a new one is potentially entered into.
