    Hi Mike,

    i am having trouble comparing the goodwill calc in example Aisvydas with Dec-07 Beth. Both examples are Investment to Sub. Beth calculates two goodwill figures 1) Investment 2) Sub. Aisvydas is only 1 taking in FV of orig investment.

    Both appear to be same but i can’t figure out why different calcs and cant apply each working to the other?

    I’m going to hazard a guess and say that Aisvydas is at FV and Beth is proportionate hence the two scenarios are not like for like?!
