I’ve just gone through chapter 22 and in the marginal costing section understand where each of the variance in the operating statement came from, however, I do not get where the Budget Profit of $45500 originates from.

I explain this in detail one minute into the 5th lecture on variance analysis!!

You really should not be using the lecture notes without watching the free lectures – they are only lecture notes and it is in the lectures that we explain and expand on the notes.
