In environmental issues chapter, its often written in the bpp book “cooling off” period in new sales contracts. What does it mean?
In the UK a cooling off period is sometimes set out by statute to allow people to reconsider and cancel a contract (usually withing 14 days). For example, all insurance contracts allow this. The purpose is consumer protection to prevent people entering contracts under pressure.
