Can someone please explain the calculation of the statement of changes in equity for this question. Not sure about the time apportionment. tnx.

This year 5,888.4 = 5,200 + 1,180 x 7/12
NC Interest 68.8 = 1,180 x 7/12 x 10%
Dividend 12 = 200 x 7/12 x 10%
