Going through some revision, it was said that no asset should be written down below their recoverable amount , division of a company /Restaurant / mining company are these some form of classification to CGU by definition?
I was doing a calculation and other asset was not allocated impairment because it was representing realizable value .
Are all classes of Asset expected not to be written below their recoverable amount of just only CGU(single asset)
No asset should be reduced below its recoverable amount
OK?
