How do we calculate cgt liability?
All gains below 34500 are taxed at 10 % and gains above 34500 are taxed at 20% or only the difference that is in excess is taxed at 20%?
Example if gain is 45000, then cgt liability would be 45000 multiplied by 20% or 34500 multiplied by 10 % and the difference that is 10500 multiplied by 20%
