I just check the ACCA website, centre exams had been cancelled in the UK, just wonder is that worth to book the exams remotely? I have no experience with remote exams.

http://www.pqmagazine.com/acca-cancels-uk-centre-exams-for-march-sitting/I have not seen the announcement from the ACCA but if that is the case, I too have never sat an exam remotely and wondered when the time comes if I should book or not. I was planning on taking either one or two Professional papers (SBL & APM) depending on my December results for SBL. Any advise from those who have sat the professional papers remotely?
January 14, 2021 at 4:46 pm #605830I haven’t yet sat an exam remotely however I know there is a ban on the use of any scrap paper on the desk.
I know this seems minor, however I rely heavily on this in exams and doing it on the computerised scrap paper section I think may slow me down.. just my opinion so I’m weighing up whether to book remotely or wait until June however there’s no guarantee they’ll be running in June so I may just bite the bulletJanuary 14, 2021 at 8:40 pm #605865I completely agree, I thought you were allowed 2 pages of scrap paper but it seems they have updated their guidance and you are not allowed any now. I was hoping to sit FM in March and have no idea how you are expected to do complex calculations without a pen and paper?! I have practised with the constructed workspace scratchpad function and I’ll never be able to type up the short question calculations in the time allocated 🙁
