I feel like my monitor was too small and more importantly the spreadsheet seemed outdated (cut and paste function deleted my formulas), hence I’m assuming windows was outdated.
Emailed the center for details on their computers and they have yet to respond.
In your opinion is this adequate to make a Centre complaint @JohnMoffat?December 16, 2020 at 7:46 am #600099If you felt that you were hampered “technologically” there is no reason why you should not report it (through feature in myACCA)
December 16, 2020 at 12:12 pm #600114I know that the deadline for Centre complaints has passed, however I’m hoping I can make the complaint via mitigating circumstances.
I’m just wondering if I need concrete evidence of their systems before I report….
All I know is the CBE Platform at the Centre was a little different from what I was used to while practising.December 16, 2020 at 3:42 pm #600128I think you should submit it anyway and I will draw ACCA’s attention to the fact that the deadline seems early as exams have not yet finished.
December 17, 2020 at 3:35 am #600158I really appreciate your initial and follow up response. Thank u.
December 17, 2020 at 8:39 am #600168You’re welcome!
December 17, 2020 at 11:49 am #600184@siwela – I have been advised that although 15 December deadline has passed you can still report as “mitigating circumstance” for which the deadlines is 22 December – see here: https://www.accaglobal.com/russia/en/help/exam-sessions.html
December 17, 2020 at 7:47 pm #600207Thank you very much.
I have reported it under mitigating circumstances and have also received feedback that it will be considered during marking.December 17, 2020 at 7:50 pm #600208Excellent! Glad you saw my follow up post!
