Chargeable gains for Cedar was 111,996
Relief included 1- Cedar’s trading loss of (19,700)
2- Timber’s trading loss of (20,800)
3- Timbers capital loss of (8,800)Cedars total taxable profit was 62,696
Is it ok to use trading losses to offset chargeable gains in group relief? I though group relief was capital losses against chargeable gains.
