August 16, 2018 at 9:06 pm #468176Rompom, ask on the Ask ACCA LW Tutor page and I’ll tell you!
August 16, 2018 at 11:41 pm #468180Can you please tell me how did you study for F4?any tips? would be appreciated.
August 17, 2018 at 6:23 am #468184Iqra, this would have been better posted in the forum rather than as a post on the page for exam feedback and results!
Anyway, here’s what I advise:
Endless hours of repetitive practice with the revision kit questions
Pick a section / topic
Try the questions (and presumably get many of them wrong)
Pick a second section / topic
Try the questions and, again, get many of them wrong
Now go back to the first topic and try those questions again – this time you should get fewer of them wrong
Now pick a third topic and try the questions – again, you’ll get many of them wrong
Back to section 1 followed by section 2
Now pick section 4, followed by 2 and 3
Now 5 followed by 3 and 4
And keep going like that
Never mind studying sections B and D of the syllabus – go straight into the revision kit to practice the questions
You’ll be lucky to score more than 20% first time through but you’ll be up to 40% after two tries, 60% after the third time through and then the sky’s your limit – technically 100% is your limit but you know what I mean
The key is endless hours of repetition going over the same questions multiple times
Boring? Tiring? Exhausting?
Yes, for sure it’s all three
But the more you can face this endless drudgery, the better your chances of attaining a good pass
And post again on the Ask ACCA Tutor LW forum when you feel the need
OK?

September 5, 2018 at 9:58 pm #471720Thanks Mike. I took the exam earlier this year I should be thanking you over and over. Your stories were the reason I passed. After reading the question in the exam I didn’t even have to look at the options I knew the entire story thanks to you.
I done the exam in 45 mins. I already knew I passed before I even got to the scenario based questions. Again thank your help.
September 6, 2018 at 11:01 am #471813Just passed F4.
Was wondering whether any of the sections from the English variant will be used/taken further into future ACCA exams?
September 8, 2018 at 8:31 pm #472383Hi guys, I was wondering how long the on demand CBE exam is for F4 Eng?
Sacked it off for a while and now it’s one of the two papers left to pass out of the fundamentals, so might as well start preparing.
September 15, 2018 at 2:08 am #474620listen to the lectures with the notes..use practice revision kit..i used bpp..and then re read notes and do OT mock exams a few times…everything that was in the exam were in OT notes so there is more than enough for you to pass comfortably…two days before i made sure i knew everything in notes and did the mock exams here and went through flashcards on here as well…thank you so much sir and all the tutors for sharing the wealth of knowledge and to everyone on here who tutors and guides us accordingly with the tonnes of questions students have daily…will make a donation again and whenever i can…
