1 January – 31 March 2018
Passed my exam in January with 82%, thanks for all the help from this website and the practice book.
which practice book you used?
Hello my brother, which book did you use?
Passed with 72% using OpenTuition and Kaplan!
any feedback about section B , For the consolidation and cash flow question was it tricky like calculating consideration price with shares ?
Hey, no – I actually find section B quite simple. Mine was preparing FS given a list of adjustments and then Consolidated Group accounts.
Cover practice questions on Consolidation with % of ownership i.e. calculation for Retained Earnings, Goodwill and Non-Controlling Interest as well as calculating Group profit after NCI.
As long as you do plenty of practice questions and ensure you properly read the question, you’ll be fine. I noticed I almost tripped from not reading some of the question correctly on the Financial Statement questions!
Hey! Soo the section B was simple calculation this year.. Okey thank you for the feedbacks! Cause my last exam december 2017. i fail i didnt expect to have consolidation with shares calculation etc.. it was so tricky!
Although I failed my first attempt exams but am happy that I got loads of knowledge of understanding what accounting is and I hope to try again, probably when am 100% confident and ready. Will definitely refer to anyone who want to do accounting.
