CBE ACCA F1 March 2018 Exam results

Hi guys!Got 85% in F1.using kaplan study text.bpp and kaplan kits +opentution mocks mcqs.

I have study material from 2013 for f1. Can someone please advice me if its ok to study from it to give cbe now in march 2018

@manjeet1210: I wouldn’t recommend a study text from 2013. You should buy a new version if you wish to study through a text book. Alternatively, free lectures along with lecture notes are enough to pass F1.

@akshay2711: Yes it is. However, you must buy a revision kit from one of ACCA’s approved publishers. They contain lots of exam standard question which will help you practice better for your exam.

@Anthony:Yes I Passed it with 85% mostly on selfstudy.read kaplan study text as many times as possible.i revise it about 6 times.then go for kaplan kit.then practice on bpp kit.and in last solve mocks or mcqs of Opentution.com.

The lectures are up-to-date. They are reviewed every sitting and updated as per the change in syllabus.

Thank you Open Tuition!!! I enjoyed your lectures and I like the notes.
I passed F1 – 74%.
I used opentuition lectures – watched twice and studied notes to master.
I also used 2011 (I know an old one!) BPP revision kit one time. I ignored topics not included in the current syllabus. It is still good for practising as theory does not change.
And I did open tuition and Acca mock exam twice.
There were a few topics/questions in the exam that were not covered in the material I had used but 74% is still a good result.
Open tuition and even an old revision book will do, I think.
