Hello everyone, what are your thoughts on this exam? I found it a bit too easy which worries me as I tend to make silly errors.

It’s my last paper before I become CAT qualified.

Your response would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

I did too… and I’m the same, my last exam. Really hoping I didn’t make silly mistakes!

@pricklyflower did you find that even thou a lot of the study material taught us about benefits and how to provide for them and on the first question there were hardly any! I spent weeks revising them

Yes! I spent so long revising the benefits and felt I knew them fully. There was a multiple choice question that I couldn’t answer too as I hadn’t even covered that in my studies.

@pricklyflower I had issues with the share question as I didn’t even see it anywhere in the study text. I recall adding them up and averaging out, got to an answer but you know what MCQ’s are like, the answer you get to when you’re unsure tends to be the wrong one. I’m staying up tonight to see my results, I can’t wait to know if I’ve failed or not.

Yes that was the same question as me. I didn’t see that at all and I did the same as you!

Good luck with the results. Not long now!

I received a text message just after midnight to say I passed!

Sounds like you have. Have you managed to get into MyAcca? Haven’t tried this morning but couldn’t all day yesterday.

Sorry, just seen your message. Yes you can get it from MyAcca under “CAT Qualification” and then FPER Record and Summary, it takes a long time to open as the file is quite big but you can save that down on your laptop and then complete it. I did mine last month, had my employer sign it off and was waiting for my results before sending it. You have to send with the application for CAT status. ACCA say 10-15 working days before they send you your certificate if you FPER is ok.

No dramas. I finished the FPER today and my employer signed it off, some of the challenge questions were dumb as hell considering I’ve been employed for 7 years with the same employer, hopefully ACCA sign off the form so I can get the certificate 🙂
