I have passed 11 out of 13 ACCA exams (am awaiting the result of my 12th and plan on sitting the 13th in June 2024). I have also completed the EPSM module and have satisfied my PER. So once I’ve completed the exams I will apply for ACCA membership.
I was wondering though if I could apply for CAT status now. I have tried to find out from the ACCA website and it is not entirely clear whether I can just apply and be granted the CAT status. Anyone able to shed some light? I intend getting to ACCA membership regardless but if I can pick up CAT along the way for no extra effort then I reckon why not. Thanks.
Short answer – no.
The CAT qualification is a separate qualification in the foundation scheme, and not part of the ACCA qualification https://www.accaglobal.com/gb/en/qualifications/glance/foundation-level/course-details.html
