Sir does dividend has an opening and closing balance?
The dividend account may have a balance (although usually not).
There is a balance at the end of the year if a dividend is owing. However that only happens if the dividend has been approved but not yet paid. That is unusual because dividends are usually only recommended at the end of the year and not approved until after the end of the year.
Thank u sir
