Dear sir,
Will issue of debentures and redemption of shares also come under the heading of cashflow from financing activities? And what does Cashflow from Operations actually mean? Its day to day activities??
Yes, issue/redemption of both shares and debentures comes under the cashflow from financing activities.
Cashflow from operations means revenue income/expenditures, so basically day to day activities.
Xairie: What Danyal has written is correct (and i do suggest that you watch the free lecture on cash flow statements).
Danyal: Please do not answer in this forum – it is the Ask the Tutor Forum and you are not the tutor 🙂 )
