In a consolidated cashflow statement, If the parent company purchases more shares when control has already been acquired, do I include the cash proceeds or the increase/decrease in equity in the financing section of the cashflow?

Also does this have any effect on my NCI working?

    Thanks.

Cash PROCEEDS? You should certainly include the cash OUTFLOW and include it within investing activities

The csofp figure for nci will already have been affected by the payment to them of the money that we spent buying some more shares from them

Your entire question appears to be written from the subsidiary’s perspective. Is that what you intended? That will certainly not be the case in exam
