Cash register can be secured if “The maximum possible amount of present information should be programmed into the cash register. This saves cashier time and reduces the risk of fraud.”
Can you please explain it sir.
For example, many cash registers now use a scanner to read a bar code on products. This means that the correct price is automatically ‘rung up’ (assuming the price file is accurate) and also tracks inventory. Both of these reduce the potential for fraud the cashier deliberately entering a wrong price or stealing more expensive goods.
Thank You sir.
