    Does asset written off affects cash flow statement? if it will, where does it affects?

    It will affect your workings – when you are trying to find a ‘missing’ figure such as depreciation charge for the year or purchase of new assets, the details of that written-off asset need to be incorporated into those workings

    The value of that written-off asset itself does not appear within a statement of cash flows because … well, because it isn’t a cash flow

    OK?
