Hi, my issue in C.F,s is that wether to make the statement’s formate first or to extract balances and make the statement fomate along with placing figures. And the other problem is with final account’s question that how to link & coordinate the adustement requierd and placement of figures rfom trial balance to financial statements, effectively and efficiently.
Please satisfy me by elleborating your answer.

Work on the principle that there are no marks for a proforma! Imagine that, in the exam, you have time only to write a proforma with no figures – say 5 minutes – or to put in 5 figures under appropriate sub-headings.

How many marks will you score for a proforma? Correct – you guessed correctly! You will score NONE

How many marks will you score if you put in 5 figures under the correct sub-headings? Correct again! You will score 5.

Now, apply some very low-level rocket-science and ask “Which is better – proforma first with maybe some figures? Or more figures without the proforma but with the figures in the appropriate one of the three sub-headings?”

Hmm – there’s a problem! Personally I would forget about writing out proformas. In every circumstance! No proforma Consolidated Statements. No proforma Statements for question 2. Is the message getting through? NO PROFORMAS!!!! They don’t score and they waste available mark-scoring time.
