If a cash-flow appears as it predicted to what extent can consol of bs or pl be in the remainder of the paper as an optional question?
In Dec 08 there was a written basic group question as an option, is this the style of question that would be expected if cash flows appeared again?

I understand cashflows may not appear however I am trying to plan how much time I should really dedicate to consols.

From what I have read and heard from a lecturer, they are tipping cash flow to come up as part of the 50 mark question. I spent a day on it last week, quite hard work so hope it does!

It’s difficult though as there aren’t many practise question for cash flow so have done them all now.

If you look at the pilot paper, you can see that the big question is on cash flow and there isn’t mention made of the other consolidated statements in the optional questions.

In the Dec 08 exam there was a written consol question which was on the more basic stuff.

One thing I have found at this level is that the papers can be very unpredictable and tips don’t usually comeup on any significant form.

I am just trying to get a broad ( not in-depth) understanding of consols so I can have a reasonable attempt if it does appear but kind of feel like I am wasting my time
