    Hi sir,

Last minute panic and thought of the chances of cash flows coming up as a complete question in section c?

We were told by our tutor that cash flows will only be a small 3 mark question in the form of an extract rather than preperation of a full one

Please advise, havent put any emphasis on it as cash flows iv always struggled with

I would dearly like to meet your tutor! Does (s)he also know the lottery numbers?

If no cash flow question comes up, (s)he will say “There you are – I told you so” and if a cash flow question does come up (s)he will say “You were terribly unlucky there. That was totally not predictable”

Either way, it’s no skin off your tutor’s nose!

Have a look at them again and, if you have a problem, come back to me

Have you watched the free video on this site covering cash flows?

That was my worry but due to the change since september i thought this would be the case i.e just a small extract

I will look at the lecture now

If it was to come up would it be in replacement of interpretation or is this again guesswork?

I was under the impression one part of section c would be between published accounts of single entites or consolidation and the second part would be interpretation

    Or am i wrong again???

I think that I would anticipate any two from these three (except it is possible to subdivide the third into two separate topics – so basically, two from four)

    Consolidations
Preparation of financial statements for a single entity
Cash flows and / or interpretations

    OK?
