If write Sep to Oct or another month , will it acceptable?

6y ago#1With y/e 31 August and this is December exam I think it should have said Sept-Nov (to be "actual to date" per the remainder of the sentence).
It looks like perhaps it is a mistake/typo (perhaps because y/e in previous Q which also mentions cash flow forecast was 30 Sept- for which actual to date would have been Oct-Nov).
