The draft financial statement shown a profit of $10000.
Subsequent checking revealed: The payment side of cash book has been understated by $100
How would the profit become after correction of the error?
And may I know how to correct this error?

Cash does not appear in the SOPL, so simply adding up the account wrongly will not affect the profit (assuming obviously that all other entries had been done correctly).
