Hello Sir!
I am studying through BPP study text.Cannot post the whole question here obviously.
The increase in cash and cash equivalents were 64000.But the opening figure was -97000
giving us net closing figure of -33000.
Cannot figure out how that -97000 figure was calculated.
If you use BPP study text the page no is 378 ,chapter 21,cash flow statements of emma co.
No, I don’t have any edition of a BPP study text
However, I’m prepared to have a guess at this one
Is there a small current asset at the start of the year for “Cash in Hand” and/or a small “Balance at Bank”
And then is there a substantial current liability called “Bank overdraft” or possibly (but less likely) a short term debt that needs to be repaid within 3 months?
Does that solve the issue for you?
