Hi Mike
I have just started (1 week into) revising for my F4 exam which is on the 24th March. I thank you for the notes and lectures you have provided, as those, with my Kaplan text book and revision kit, I believe will be sufficient for me to do well in my first ACCA exam.
I have a question about the unit, do we as students have to remember any case names? It was made clear that we do not have to remember case names for statute law, ie. mischief rule etc. Does this still apply to contract law, and if there are more examples of case names, the rest of the unit?
Thanks Again for the excellent material you have provided and I am sure that I will have more questions for you in the coming month or so!
Best Wishes
Billy
February 13, 2016 at 2:18 pm #300291Billy, you need to remember
NO case names,
NO case dates,
NO section numbers from legislation,
NO titles of legislation,
NO years in which legislation was passed,
NO article numbers and, when you get to F7,
NO IAS numbers,
NO IAS titles,
NO IFRS numbers,
NO IFRS titles and, when you arrive at F8,
NO ISA numbers,
NO ISA titles
Is that perfectly clear?
I look forward to your future questions 🙂
February 13, 2016 at 2:49 pm #300316Excellent, thanks a lot Mike. I am enjoying your lectures very much, as you say, it is a very interesting subject. I will reply on this thread with other questions if it is okay, otherwise if it better suits you I can create a new thread.
