hi , i would like to know , when mentioning cases in our answers, is it mandatory to give a brief description of the case which the book described specifically or we could give a banal example for explanation…thx..
November 29, 2010 at 11:18 am #71755I cannot imagine you ever having to give case details. All you need to do is state a principle of law and the quote the illustrative case name ( in brackets )
November 29, 2010 at 11:39 am #71756ok am asking because at uni they told us to give a brief explanation to illustrate the case law..because sometimes the cases are vague that’s why..
November 29, 2010 at 11:42 am #71757Imagine how much you can write in 13 minutes ( 18 minutes per question – 5 minutes planning time ). Now, how much time do you have to start giving details of cases when you have 9 other points to chase?
November 29, 2010 at 11:47 am #71758ok then…another question , do you have tips to answer problem solving questions ?
November 29, 2010 at 11:50 am #71759Read the F4 exam technique article on this site ( and the general exam technique article too )
that should help
