Hello
I have been conflicted about my options after completing the remaining 6 papers of the ACCA (by the end of this year, hopefully). I would hopefully have the OBU BSc Hons. degree alongside and I eventually plan on settling in either the Middle East, Canada or Australia.
To my knowledge Canada and Australia don’t quite recognize the ACCA so I suppose I’d have to pursue another degree/qualification while I engage in some job in Pakistan. In light of that, I would like to know what exactly my career options are if I pick P6 and P7 as my option papers and how I should go about it upon completion of the ACCA.
I do know that ICAEW provides 12 paper exemptions to ACCA affiliates (which is an interesting prospect but makes me wonder if that’s even going to add a significant bit to my CV), there’s CFA (but a comprehensive and seemingly too long study such as that in Finance kinda gives me the shivers but maybe I’m over-thinking) and there’s MBA (again Finance is probably the most relevant).
I could really use some good advice from all you guys. Thank you.
