Hi,
I’m currently a self-employed musician, and studying the ACCA in my spare time as a mature student, with a view to a career change at some point. At the moment I’ve passed F2, and am ready to take both F3 and F1 now. I suppose I’d be looking for jobs such as an assistant accountant, but would appreciate your advice on this.
My main question is, how many exams would you suggest I take in order to give myself a good chance of being offered an interview? Bear in mind, my cv is very much music orientated at the moment, as I have not done any office work before. I have a diploma in music, but no degree. I do have a qualification for a Sage 50 course I did though.
Also, if anyone could look over my cv and offer any suggestions I’d be very grateful. If anyone could recommend what type of jobs I should go for, and places/websites to apply for them I’d appreciate that. Because I’ve been working as a musician for such a long time I feel very much out of my depth!
Thanks for your help.
