I have been thinking a lot recently about doing the ACCA qualification (starting at diploma stage of FIA) as I feel this would interest me and is something I would like to do for the rest of my working life. Since leaving school I’ve had a few jobs just to make money not for a career and I am now 29 years old and have been working as a purchaser the last 3 years which includes some financial work but not a lot.
My question is do you think it’s a good idea to change careers and start studying ACCA with very little work experience?
